About Me
Hi, I’m Brian Kennedy, a wedding videographer born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. My passion for storytelling has taken me all across the East Coast and the breathtaking landscapes of Western North Carolina, capturing love stories at iconic venues in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia’s most charming settings.
My journey into wedding videography began during my time at Appalachian State University, where I studied Marketing and worked as a sports videographer for ASU’s football team. In 2019, a close friend asked if I would film her wedding, and that experience changed everything. Seeing the joy and emotion my work brought to her inspired me to focus on wedding videography, and I haven’t looked back since.
After earning my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) through UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, I continued living and working in Asheville, combining my love for visual storytelling with my marketing expertise. When I’m not behind the camera, I live in Downtown Asheville and work full-time as the Marketing Manager for SCM Talent Group, a boutique executive search firm. There, I lead innovative marketing strategies, but I always make time to create cinematic wedding films that couples will cherish forever.
